A Northeast Ohio native, Meaghan's journey to law began in healthcare. She earned her undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University and completed a Fulbright Fellowship in Hong Kong. Afterward, she pursued a nursing degree at Kent State University. Meaghan worked in various clinical settings, from top local hospitals to travel nurse assignments, where she gained valuable hands-on medical experience that strengthens her legal practice.

Now, as a lawyer, I stand up for them in court," said Meaghan Geraghty. In 2018, Meaghan earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law. During her time there, she was a member of the National Mock Trial Team and received several CALI Awards for academic excellence, including recognition in Civil Clinic and Public Health Law. Additionally, she was honored as the Outstanding Clinical Student and received the Clinical Legal Educators Association Award.

Meaghan has experience litigating medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, and personal injury cases in Ohio and Nebraska. Her unique background enables her to be particularly effective in cases involving complex medical issues, where her clinical knowledge and legal expertise come together to provide clear and strategic advocacy. Additionally, she has served as a Guardian ad Litem, highlighting her commitment to protecting vulnerable individuals.
