EMI Classics Releases Over 80 Albums on the iTunes U.S. Classical Store
Albums Have Been Mastered Specifically for iTunes To Optimize Sound Quality
NEW YORK, May 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- EMI Classics today released over 80 albums on the iTunes Classical Store, offering listeners a chance to discover and enjoy some the greatest recordings in EMI's illustrious catalog, each of which has been newly mastered specifically with the Mastered for iTunes format in mind, ensuring the delivery of music to listeners with increased audio fidelity, more closely replicating what the artists, recording engineers, and producers intended.
Included among the albums are EMI's acclaimed Juilliard Sessions releases, which came out this February and were among the first titles to be Mastered for iTunes. Other recent releases are superstar Joyce DiDonato's Grammy®-Winning recital Diva, Divo and pianist Alexandre Tharaud's extraordinary album of Scarlatti Sonatas.
