LOS ANGELES, Nov. 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Hero Broadcasting, owner and operator of KBEH-DT Channel 63 Los Angeles and the L.A.-based CentroNetProductions, today announced the launch of their co-production of Tu Mundo Hoy, a daily one-hour, Spanish-language show that will take an in-depth look at today's health and financial issues facing the Hispanic community. Hosted by local, Emmy-Award winning radio personality Carlos Alvarez and long-time TV News Personality Ofelia de la Torre, the show debuts this week from 2:00-3:00pm on KBEH-DT Channel 63.

Carlos is an emmy-award winning host and recipient of the "Monitor Latino" Latin Pop Radio Personality of the Year in 2009 & 2010. Ofelia has been serving Los Angeles TV viewers for over 25 years.
