Engadget Expand 2014 Opens Today in New York City
More than 10,000 Attendees Expected to Experience the Latest Gadgets of Today and Get a Sneak Peek at the Innovations of Tomorrow
NEW YORK, Nov. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Engadget is proud to announce that Expand 2014 kicks off today at the Jacob K. Javits Center starting at 1:00 pm. The two-day event is free to the public and will spotlight a wide range of technology innovations from robotics and wearables, to 3D printing, virtual reality and much more.

The Engadget Expand Show Floor will be filled with exhibitors that are ready to showcase the latest technology innovations of today and tomorrow. Attendees will get to hear advice from the Best Buy Geek Squad, experience 3D Fruit Printing with Dovetailed, wear a Ringly, ride an eSnowboard from LEIF, put on KOR-FX, and more.
Get to Work During the Expand Workshops
In addition to the Show Floor exhibits, the workshops at Engadget Expand will give attendees a chance to create their own innovations. For example, DODOcase will allow consumers to build their own cardboard virtual reality headsets that work with their smartphones. Make: Magazine will offer several workshops including one that will let attendees build a gadget that brings human interaction and social media together.
