Enjoy National Blueberry Pie Day With a Yummy Slice and Sweet Advice

Blueberries are one of the few fruits native to North America. In 1916, Elizabeth Coleman White, the daughter of a New Jersey farmer, developed the first commercial variety of blueberry based on the wild varieties growing in the region.
