This latest version brings improvements to the free application that lets consumers play, manage, share and move photos, videos and music across a wide range of devices. Adding to existing popular features like one-click video downloading and transferring to mobile devices, the new RealPlayer now allows users to move media off their mobile devices and into their RealPlayer library. This application, currently in Beta, is available now at www.real.com/realplayer/beta.

An optional upgrade to RealPlayer Plus will be available in October for $39.99, and will include accelerated video downloading and transferring features, in addition to advanced CD and DVD burning capabilities.

Over the past year, RealPlayer has been downloaded more than 140 million times and has been used to download over 1 billion videos.
