Under the theme of "Making Washington a Healthy Place to do Business," the DC Chamber hosted an engaging and provocative discussion with DC Mayor Vincent Gray, industry, and academia on how to make Washington DC a place where businesses and their employees both thrive. Mayor Gray moderated the 90-minute panel discussion on topics including how to attract, retain and grow the private sector, equity in employment opportunities, as well as, District infrastructure and economic development.
Mr. Ford, a native Washingtonian, spoke of the District's need to invest in technology and innovation as a means for spurring economic development and job creation within the District.
