Enlivant Announces Executive Leadership Transition

CHICAGO, Feb. 5, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Enlivant ("Company") and its Board of Directors announced today that Jack R. Callison, Jr. will be assuming the role of Chairman of Enlivant's Board of Directors and has resigned as Enlivant's Chief Executive Officer, effective March 31, 2021. Daniel M. Guill, Enlivant's long-term President and Chief Operating Officer since 2013, has been named the successor Chief Executive Officer of Enlivant. Mr. Callison has accepted a leadership role outside of Enlivant, effective April 1, 2021.

As Enlivant's Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Guill leads operations across Enlivant's 220 senior living communities including clinical operations, sales, marketing, food services, IT, and facility maintenance. Mr. Guill has an extensive background in senior housing, hospitality, finance, and healthcare services and brings an intense focus on continuously improving operational performance. Prior to Enlivant, he served in various operating and financial roles at organizations such as Fortress Investment Group, Parthenon Capital, and Performant. Mr. Guill holds a B.A. from Davidson College and received his M.B.A from Harvard Business School.

In addition, Pete Smith, Enlivant's long-term Chief Human Resources and Legal Officer, has been promoted to Chief Administrative Officer. In his new role, Mr. Smith will continue to oversee the Company's human resources and legal functions, while also taking responsibility for Enlivant's regulatory, clinical, and project management organizations. Mr. Smith has been part of Enlivant's leadership team since 2013. He has played a critical role in establishing its people-focused, collaborative culture and in building its Diversity and Inclusion initiatives. Mr. Smith brings deep experience from his leadership roles at PepsiCo, Burger King, and AutoNation, among other companies.
