Enterasys Manufacturing Team Goes Gold at the American Business Awards Ceremony

SALEM, N.H., Oct. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Enterasys Networks was honored with a Gold Stevie® Award for Product Development Team of the Year at the 11^th Annual American Business Awards (ABAs) ceremony held on Monday, Sept. 16. The latest honor brings Enterasys' total number of Stevie Awards to four in 2013, adding to three from February for the company's excellence in sales and customer service.  

Human manual visual inspection of electronics products can be timely and costly. Knowing the toll it could take on providing a positive customer experience, Enterasys decided to step out of the box to develop the Mechanical Assembly Optical Inspection (MAOI) system. Custom designed and tailored to inspect Enterasys' products, MAOI performs real-time analysis to identify assembly mistakes and component damage of manufactured products at the end of the assembly process before the product is packaged.
