Enterprise Homes Celebrates Grand Re-Opening of Sierra Woods Apartments in Howard County

COLUMBIA, Md., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Enterprise Homes, Inc. yesterday afternoon joined Howard County Executive Ken Ulman, Howard County Councilman Calvin Ball, Howard County Housing and Community Development Deputy Secretary Clarence J. Snuggs, Howard County Housing and Community Development Director Stacy Spann, Representatives Guy J. Guzzone and Shane E. Pendergrass and local residents to celebrate the grand re-opening of the Sierra Woods Apartments in the Village of Long Reach neighborhood of Columbia in Howard County. Sierra Woods Apartments is a completely renovated community of 158 affordable and environmentally sustainable rental homes for families.

The Sierra Woods Apartments consists of 28 one-bedroom, 75 two-bedroom, 39 three-bedroom and 16 four-bedroom units including apartments and townhomes. The property was built in 1975. Renovations to the development meet the Enterprise Green Communities standard and included updates to mechanical systems and living areas including the kitchens and baths. Water-conserving plumbing fixtures, Energy Star appliances, energy-saving light fixtures and green label carpeting throughout contribute to a healthy, sustainable living environment.
