Entrepreneur Avrum Elmakis Named a Pet Age Magazine Forty Under 40 Winner

RICHMOND, Va., Sept. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Avrum Elmakis, owner and CEO of the pet treat company Barkworthies, has been named a winner in the 2014 Pet Age Forty Under 40 awards program. The awards program is produced by Pet Age, a national publication covering all things in the pet industry, providing the latest industry news and more.

The Forty Under 40 awards program honors men and women under the age of 40 who have been making headlines in their field and who share a commitment to business growth, to professional excellence and to the community. To qualify, Elmakis and the other winners met selected criteria that included possessing significant authority for decision making within a company in the pet industry.
