SHELTON, Conn., Oct. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Known as one of Fairfield County's most successful commercial property owner and management firms, with 32 buildings totaling over 2.5 million square feet of space and an occupancy rate of nearly 98%, R.D. Scinto, Inc. can now add "Proud Supporter of the Arts" to their already impressive portfolio. Bob Scinto has taken his passion and appreciation for Shakespeare's written word and has brought it to the public to be enjoyed throughout a series of free seminars presented by award-winning author Bob Smith.
Scinto's passion for Shakespeare's works began a little over 8 years ago when he and his wife Barbara attended Bob Smith's Shakespeare sessions at the Stratford Library. Smith, most well-known for his highly acclaimed book Hamlet's Dresser: A Memoir, and his teachings of William Shakespeare, teamed up with Scinto in February of 2010 to begin Nights With Shakespeare. At each session Smith deftly explores the complete text line-by-line, challenging the seminar participants to thought-provoking give-and-take discussions about each play, its history, its characters and its relationships. Even more unique are the works of visual art presented throughout each play reading.
Nights With Shakespeare is generously underwritten and presented FREE to the public by R.D. Scinto, Inc., and is held at their corporate auditorium located in the Shelton Corporate Park at 3 Corporate Drive, Shelton, Connecticut. Presentations take place Tuesday evenings from 7- 8 PM. Seating is limited and is available on a 'first-come' basis. Each participant receives a free copy of the play to follow during each session.
