Envestnet And Investment Advisor Announce Finalists For 10th Annual SMA Manager Of The Year Awards

CHICAGO, April 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Envestnet, Inc. (NYSE: ENV), a leading provider of integrated wealth management technology and services to investment advisors and wealth managers, and Investment Advisor magazine have partnered again to reveal the finalists in the 10^th Annual Separately Managed Account (SMA) Manager of the Year Awards.

The SMA Manager of the Year Awards recognize best-in-class SMA managers, and will be presented during the "2014 Envestnet Advisor Summit: The Next Big Idea," which will be held from May 14-16 at the Hilton Chicago. New to the competition this year is an award for Specialty SMA Manager of the Year. In addition, a single SMA Manager of the Year will be chosen from among the category winners as an exemplar of investment management excellence.

The winners will also be featured in the July 2014 issue of Investment Advisor.

To be eligible for an SMA Manager of the Year Award, a manager must have tenure of at least three years, and their product must be reported through the PrimaGuide research application, which is available through Envestnet | PMC^® Premium Research, a leading source of investment manager due diligence, asset allocation modeling, multi-manager portfolios and research applications to the wealth management and retirement sectors. In addition, the product must also have at least $200 million in assets.

The award finalists were determined using Envestnet | PMC Research's systematic, proprietary and multi-factor evaluation methodology, which takes quantitative and qualitative criteria into consideration. These factors include performance, investment process and style, firm profile, composite, tax efficiency and customer service.
