EnviroTechnologies International Announces Extended Foliar Spray Testing with Empowered Water™
The Company to test its proprietary Electrolyzed Solutions in Northwest Orchards
SALT LAKE CITY, March 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- EnviroTechnologies International (OTC Pink, ETII), a company that develops and markets green, natural and organic products for diverse industries, today announced that it will commence testing the expanded foliar spray use of its electrolyzed water solutions, Empowered WaterTM and products in several Northwest orchards.
ETII successfully introduced Empowered Water TM Hypochlorous Solutions in apple orchard foliar spraying last year after significant field-testing. "Growers have found that periodic spray treatments of this organic, disinfecting pesticide have reduced and even eliminated significant fruit damage caused by the most common and hard to control fungal/mildew infestations in apple orchards. Empowered Water TM spray solutions not only protect the fruit from mold/mildew damage, but also effectively control other common bacterial contaminations, such as E. Coli, Salmonella, and Listeria," said Randall Waters, ETI's Director of Operations. "This field testing of the antimicrobial efficacy of Hypochlorous verifies in the field what has been proven in multiple lab studies over the past 20 years. We are excited to extend the testing of our solutions in other crops such as cherry and pear orchards."
To facilitate the next phase, ETII principals have met with growers and service companies and they have agreed to seasonal tests in controlled areas. "We have delivered equipment and products to facilitate the test in an initial large Washington state orchard. In the Northwest alone, there are over 200,000 acres of pear and cherry-producing orchards and each and every one of them could be treated with our products, which could result in millions of dollars in revenues for our company, as we are pioneering this important agricultural effort," said Waters. "We are focusing a significant amount of our resources and talents to maximize our unique product position in this market and create long-term revenues for ETII," said John Hopkins, ETII's President.
