EOS Climate Announces Appointment of Kathleen McGinty to Board of Directors

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- EOS Climate, the leader in leveraging carbon markets to ensure the complete life cycle management of refrigerants, is pleased to announce appointment of Kathleen McGinty to its Board of Directors.

Ms. McGinty is currently a Senior Vice President and Managing Director at Weston Solutions, where she is charged with leading the Green Development Division, focused on sustainable property redevelopment, clean energy, innovative water solutions and strategic sustainability services. Ms. McGinty is also an Operating Partner at Element Partners LLC, a growth stage private equity firm investing in clean technologies, and a Director at NRG Energy, Inc., as well as Iberdrola USA, Inc.

Ms. McGinty is former Chair of the White House Council on Environmental Quality under President Bill Clinton and former Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Secretary under Governor Rendell, where she earned wide praise for her efforts to reduce pollution and promote investment in clean technologies.
