Eos Sleep Opens Two New Doors In The Golden State
New Beverly Hills and Palm Springs Locations Bring Exceptional Treatment for Sleep Disorders to California
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., April 2, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Eos Sleep, the nation's leading medical practice for diagnosing and treating the many causes of sleep apnea, sinusitis and nasal obstruction, is proud to announce the opening of its newest centers located in the hearts of Beverly Hills and Palm Springs, California as of April 1st.
Eos Sleep is pleased to bring on board Dr. Marc Kayem who will be joining lead physician of all Eos California practices, Dr. Matthew Mingrone, to assist in the growth of the new Beverly Hills and Palm Springs locations. Dr. Kayem has been a physician for more than 20 years after receiving his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Ottawa and degrees as an otolaryngologist and facial plastic surgeon at the University of Montreal. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Kayem is also affiliated with several hospitals in the greater California area and serves as the team physician to the NHL, Los Angeles Kings.
"I am thrilled to be joining Dr. Mingrone and working with such an accomplished and experienced group of physicians who are passionate about helping their patients get a proper night's sleep and improving the lives of those who snore, suffer with sleep apnea or endure other sleeping issues," says Dr. Kayem. "I'm looking forward to continuing the great work Eos Sleep Centers are known for and creating the best experiences for Beverly Hills and Palm Springs patients from their very first appointment through post-treatment visits."
The new centers offer the most innovative, state-of-the-art procedures available to provide effective treatments for patients with mild to severe sleep disorders, including the in-office treatments such as the Pillar Procedure and Coblation, as well as at-home treatments such as Provent Therapy and Oral Appliance Therapy which serve as alternatives to the CPAP machine. New technologies also allow Eos Sleep patients to do Home Sleep Studies, as opposed to tests in an overnight lab, which is a more comfortable and less expensive option. Although most patients benefit from a minimally invasive in-office approach, Eos Sleep physicians consider all options before recommending patient-specific treatment. The specialists believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach, and recommendations are driven by a medical diagnosis unique to the patient, and only after careful consideration by the staff of board-certified medical doctors.
"We are excited to further expand our innovative and efficacious treatments throughout California with our new locations in Beverly Hills and Palm Springs," explained David Volpi, M.D., Founder and Medical Director of Eos Sleep. "Our mission and vision are built upon educating the public about the potential severity of snoring as it can be a symptom of serious medical conditions, including sleep apnea which can lead to strokes, high blood pressure, irregular heart rhythms, and when untreated, can even shorten one's lifespan."
Realizing that there is a real need for accurate information, diagnosis and treatment, Dr. David Volpi founded Eos Sleep to be a place where snoring patients can go for total expert treatment. With 45 million Americans affected with sleep apnea, and it being one of the top three undiagnosed diseases in the country, there is a great need for these centers where patients can be properly evaluated and thoroughly treated to avoid serious health risks. Eos Sleep is dedicated to delivering successful treatment of problems ranging from daytime headaches, irritability, and poor-concentration caused by snoring-interrupted sleep, to the more serious, and even life-threatening, health issues caused by severe obstructive sleep apnea.
Eos Sleep, which will unveil even more new locations throughout the year, will provide patients with the opportunity to receive the latest minimally invasive in-office techniques to treat snoring, sleep apnea, sinusitis and nasal obstruction. Dr. Volpi and his ENT physicians work to continuously seek the most progressive and innovative treatments to make sure Eos Sleep remains a center of excellence.
The new centers are located in Beverly Hills at 120 S. Spalding Drive, Suite 340 Beverly Hills, CA 90212 and in Palm Springs at 71-949 Highway 111, Suite 300 Rancho Mirage, CA 92270. They are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call (888) 789-8781 or visit www.EosSleep.com.
David Volpi, M.D., P.C., F.A.C.S. is the Founder of Eos Sleep Centers. He's had a private Ear, Nose and Throat practice in New York, NY for more than twenty years and is a staff member at New York's finest teaching hospitals. As an otolaryngology surgeon, David Volpi, M.D. realized that there is a lack of information on the part of the public about the potential severity of snoring. With the need for accurate information, diagnosis and treatment so necessary, he founded Eos Sleep, formerly Manhattan Snoring and Sleep Center to be a place where snoring patients can go for total, expert treatment — and he created this site to be a thorough information resource for the education of snoring sufferers throughout the world.
Matthew D. Mingrone, M.D. is the lead physician for Eos Sleep California centers. He is the former President and Medical Director of Sereno, The Center for Snoring Solutions in San Francisco. Dr. Mingrone is a Board Certified Otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose and Throat physician — ENT) who specializes in snoring and sleep apnea issues. He has over twelve years of experience and is highly trained in medically proven, minimally invasive treatments for snoring and sleep apnea. Dr. Mingrone has appeared in numerous national publications and on television as an expert on ear, nose and throat issues and has helped thousands of patients resolve snoring and sleep problems. Dr. Mingrone's interest in this area, combined with his understanding that patients with these conditions could greatly benefit from a practice which focuses on comprehensive care of patients with these issues, led to his interest and participation with Eos Sleep.
Marc Kayem, M.D. is the latest addition to the Eos Sleep practice, joining the new CA centers. He has been a physician for more than 20 years, of which the last 13 years have been spent in private practice in Southern California. He received his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Ottawa and degrees as an otolaryngologist and facial plastic surgeon at the University of Montreal. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Kayem is affiliated with several hospitals including St. Johns Health Center in Santa Monica, Brotman Medical Center in Culver City, and Mammoth Hospital, Mammoth Lakes, CA. He is also Team Physician to the NHL, Los Angeles Kings.
