EPA Recognizes Burton Energy Group With 2015 ENERGY STAR® Partner Of The Year -Sustained Excellence Award

ALPHARETTA, Ga., April 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has recognized Burton Energy Group (Burton) with a 2015 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year – Sustained Excellence Award for their continued leadership in protecting our environment through superior energy efficiency achievements. Burton's accomplishments will be recognized in Washington, D.C. on April 20, 2015.
Burton, an ENERGY STAR partner since 2009, will be honored for its long-term commitment to energy efficiency. Over the past year Burton's accomplishments have included the rollout of the Burton Energy & Sustainability Portal (Patent Pending) that interfaces with Portfolio Manager to deliver real-time ENERGY STAR scores, and the benchmarking of more than 1,800 buildings with 162 buildings earning first time ENERGY STAR Certification. Burton has also been a leader in working with its clients to drive participation in ENERGY STAR's Battle of the Buildings competition.
