EPIC Piping Announces $40 Million Investment to Expand Global Production Capacity and Service Offerings

BATON ROUGE, La., Feb. 22, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- EPIC Piping ("EPIC"), one of the largest industrial pipe systems manufacturing companies in the world, today announced that it is investing up to $40 million to expand its manufacturing facilities and administrative offices to increase production capacity amid growing customer demand for specialized pipe spool products in the US and abroad.

The investment will increase EPIC's leading global production footprint – which currently consists of more than 1,000,000 square feet of dedicated manufacturing space across three state-of-the-art facilities in North America and Asia – by 30 percent while also increasing the number of skilled professionals in its workforce to approximately 2,000. As the number of large-scale projects announced and underway in the US Gulf Coast and abroad continues to grow, this capacity increase will allow EPIC to produce larger diameters and heavier pipe fabrication to meet the evolving needs of its multi-national energy and industrial customers globally.
