Flexibility for Increased Productivity
As the landscape of business efficiency continues to evolve and employees are required to utilize remote access to network files, automated workflow and increased access to records management systems is vital to productivity. Epson Document Capture Pro software for Windows PC or Mac^® allows users to immediately scan to popular cloud services including Google Docs™, MS SharePoint^®, and Evernote^®1 with one touch, and easily access documents from multiple devices or share with others. Document Capture Pro also enables users to efficiently manage and route documents by scanning directly to email, FTP sites or any computer folder.

The WorkForce DS-510 is compatible with most office software programs, and includes TWAIN and ISIS drivers allowing businesses to easily customize scanner applications for increased efficiency and flexibility. Businesses can also leverage networking capabilities using an optional network module¹ (sold separately) to support up to 100 workstations with full scanner functionality.

Compact Yet Built for Power, Efficiency and Quality
The WorkForce DS-510 boasts scan speeds of up to 26 ppm/52ipm² and can scan both sides of one sheet in just one pass, as well as a stack of up to 50 pages with its built-in Automatic Document Feeder (ADF). It is also equipped with ultrasonic double-feed detection technology, which senses if more than a single page has been fed and automatically stops the feeding to avoid missing pages or jamming.

Standing just 6.1" tall, 11.7" wide and 6" deep, the WorkForce DS-510 is compact enough to fit into any office environment, and offers versatile paper handling to meet any business' needs – from rigid ID cards and stacks of business cards to documents up to 36 inches. It can also scan folded pages without using a carrier sheet – both sides will be scanned, stitched together and saved digitally, for increased ease-of-use.

Delivering high image quality, the WorkForce DS-510 also offers new and innovative advanced color and image adjustment capabilities that are simple to use and offer increased flexibility. When saving in black-and-white, it is often useful to manipulate how the software captures or removes information in color from the original page.  Color Enhance captures specific and continuously variable colors from the original document before converting to black-and-white; and Color Dropout removes any color from the scanned image. Users can save up to six different colors to capture or drop for each scan profile, which can be saved for repeat use, ultimately allowing for a wide range of options for simplifying the capture and maintenance of data. The scanner also includes features such as automatic paper size detection, hole-punch removal, automatic de-skewing, and background color removal.
