WASHINGTON, Jan. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --The nationally recognized Labor and Employment Practice of EpsteinBeckerGreen will be hosting its bi-annual symposium at the National Press Club, located at 529 14th Street, NW, in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 26, 2011. This program entitled, "Obama, Tea Party, Health Care, Jobs: A Midterm Review on the Impact on Labor and Employment Law," will highlight discussions of the significant labor and employment issues that have occurred in the past two years and what businesses can expect to see in this changing economic and social environment.

This program is unique because it will review the last two years since Obama's inauguration, it will take a look at where we are presently today, and it will forecast where we are going in the future following the Midterm elections.

In 2008, Barack Obama promised a renewed focus on labor and employment issues. Following his inauguration, the country witnessed an increase in enforcement of employment regulations and a series of labor-friendly appointments, which have had a significant impact on the workplace.
