EQT and Green Field Achieve Industry Milestone Utilizing 100% Field Gas for Multi-Stage Hydraulic Fracturing

PITTSBURGH and LAFAYETTE, La., Sept. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- EQT Corporation and Green Field Energy Services, Inc. today announced the successful completion of multiple fracturing stages using pumps powered by 100% "field" gas supplied directly from a nearby Marcellus natural gas well. The hydraulic fracturing was conducted on a well operated by EQT Corporation and located in the Marcellus Shale of Pennsylvania.
