Erbert and Gerbert's® Rolls Out New Signature Sandwich Choices Inspired by Flavornation

EAU CLAIRE, Wis., Oct. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Erbert and Gerbert's® Sandwich Shop announces the launch of the new "Signature" sandwich menu line inspired by Flavornation. Customers can now experience these new taste sensations that feature fresh, delicious and healthy "flavor combinations" offering a wider range of options for lunch, dinner, snack time or anytime.

The new Signature group of sandwiches features the mouth-watering Erupter Buffalo Chicken and Bleu Cheese; the saucy Quatro Cranberry Wasabi Chicken; and the sweet and spicy Spartan.

The new Erupter sandwich features a mouth-watering blend of buffalo chicken salad mixed with celery, lettuce, tomato, Hellman's® Mayonnaise, onion, and blue cheese dressing. The new Quatro sandwich is a saucy combination of cranberry wasabi, chicken breast, cucumber, Hellman's® Mayonnaise, lettuce, cheddar cheese, and cherry wood smoked bacon. The new Spartan sandwich features delicious chicken breast, cheddar cheese, cherry wood smoked bacon, and a sweet and spicy Peppadew Mustard.

And the new flavors are getting plenty of accolades. As stated by David Jobe, president of the Restaurant Leadership Conference, after sampling the Erbert and Gerbert's Erupter sandwich, "This is the single best sandwich I've ever tasted."

In addition, all Erbert and Gerbert's stores are now equipped with updated menu boards that make choosing a sandwich easier than ever, and feature the new logo, as well as a reconfigured layout that groups sandwiches into three distinct categories: Signature, Specialty and Classic.

The Signature line features the Pompeii, Titan, Erupter, Spartan and Quatro. The Specialty line features the Comet Candy, Flash, Narmer, Girf, Tullius, Shortcake, Geeza and Geeter. The Classic line includes the Boney Billy, Comet Morehouse, Halleys Comet, Jacob Bluefinger, Cally, Tappy, Bornk and Pudder.

The sandwich shop concept was inspired by childhood stories told by the founder's father, which centered on two imaginary boys, Erbert and Gerbert Herbert, who experienced adventures throughout space and time.
