Ernst & Young LLP Announces Launch of Ernst & Young Capital Advisors, LLC

NEW YORK, Aug. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Ernst & Young LLP announces the launch of its affiliate Ernst & Young Capital Advisors, LLC (EYCA), a newly formed broker-dealer. EYCA joins the global network of Ernst & Young firms, offering a broad range of transaction and capital advisory services, including capital structure advisory, capital raising, restructuring, and special situations finance to middle market and larger corporate clients as well as creditors and other investors.

Leading the capital markets and structuring effort at EYCA is Peter Sherman, Senior Managing Director. Sherman has over 22 years of experience in the industry. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, he was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch and its legacy organizations focused on capital markets and advisory services including leveraged finance, special situations finance, restructuring and principal investing.

K.C. Brechnitz, Senior Managing Director, brings 13 years of experience in leveraged finance, restructuring advisory, loan syndications, and high yield capital markets. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, he was a Managing Director with Wachovia Securities.

Robert "Bo" Powell, Managing Director, brings 14 years of experience in leveraged finance, restructuring advisory, loan syndications, M&A and principal investing. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, he was a Director with Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

John Murchison, Managing Director, brings 12 years of experience in leveraged finance, restructuring advisory, loan syndications and principal investing. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, he was a Director with Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
