NEW YORK, May 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ESPN Deportes will provide 24/7 multiplatform Spanish-language news and information coverage of the 2014 FIFA World Cup from Brazil June 12 – July 13 available across television, radio, online and mobile.

Complementing the network's more than 600+ live hours of Spanish-language coverage of the quadrennial sports event, ESPN Deportes will provide Portuguese-language telecasts of at least 54 live World Cup matches, starting with the opener as the host nation Brazil plays Croatia on June 12 at 4:00 p.m. ET. ESPN Deportes+, ESPN Deportes' broadband channel available via ESPNdeportes.com and ESPN3, will carry ten matches live (those days when there is more than one match simultaneously).

• ESPN Deportes' international soccer program Fuera de Juego, featuring World Cup legend and 1978 Golden Boot winner Mario Kempes, will preview and recap the matches of the day with two live, daily editions seven days a week.
• Raza Deportiva, the network's live morning simulcast show, will expand from five to seven times a week.
