These children will receive, under CWDP, improved community care to support essential health care and, nutrition, access to education, and a variety of social welfare services.
Ms. Gillian Mellsop, the representative of UNICEF, said: "We are very happy that ET Solar has made such a generous contribution to support our work to help establish a modern, community based child welfare system in China. ET Solar's contribution will not only benefit the children covered in the programme, it will also contribute toward developing better policies and strategies adopted by the Government of China to meet the critical needs of its most vulnerable children throughout the country."
Mr. Dennis She, President and CEO of ET Solar, commented: "We are very pleased to participate in this project along with UNICEF. UNICEF has been playing a very important role in improving children's living conditions around the world and particularly in developing countries. As a socially responsible company that is committed to the public welfare efforts, ET Solar has also been very keen to provide significant support to children from the developing regions in China.
