The tasting panel and editorial board at Wine Enthusiast named etoile Restaurant as one of the 100 Best Wine Restaurants in the United States and highlighted three specific "Destination Bottles" from its wine list. Following the announcement of these awards, beginning in August, Chef Perry Hoffman's food pairing inspirations will be featured alongside the three "Destination Bottles" highlighted by Wine Enthusiast. A Napa Valley native, 27 year-old Chef Hoffman joined the team at etoile Restaurant at Domaine Chandon in July 2007 and has since been recognized with a Michelin Star, two James Beard Nominations as well as a nomination by Food + Wine Magazine as The People's Best New Chef on the West Coast. Chef Hoffman is the youngest recipient of a Michelin Star in the U.S. and only three years older than the youngest person in the world to ever receive the honor. Chef Hoffman works directly with winemakers to design recipes for specific pairings and collaboratively, the team builds its wine-driven, award-winning menu.
