Originally headquartered in Zagreb, Croatia, the unique high-end format of FFC events will remain the same. No other league offers live audiences two completely different shows in one evening - the first six MMA bouts are stacked non-stop leading into the second six fights showcasing kickboxing matches. This juxtaposition of styles is simply electric. The FFC contracts more than a hundred fighters from all over the world, including Robin van Roosmalen, who made his MMA debut in the FFC, Dion Staring, Hesdy Gerges, Ricco Rodriguez, Pavel Zhuravlev and Mladen Brestovac. These seasoned fight specialists guarantee a riveting show.
The first FFC event in the United States will be June 3rd at the Daytona Beach Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. Hitting the US market strong, FFC owners have arranged for an amazing fight card for their first American event at the Daytona Beach Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. Former UFC fighter Karo Parisyan is looking to prove that he still has plenty in his tank as he is set to take on Germany's up and comer Arda Ardas. The FFC Welterweight Champ and rising star Laszlo Senyei is set to defend his belt in highly anticipated title defense against Chris Curtis. While former UFC fighter and famous founder of the Blackzilians Gym Danillo Villefort will be in the ring opposite Justin Baesman. Also former UFC roster member Roger Narvaez will face Britain's Judoka Pavel Doroftei, which will determine the first FFC Middleweight champion and round out the events fight card.
A week later on June 10, the FFC moves north to Springfield, Massachusetts. Springfield's MassMutual Center Arena will host FFC 25 with an equally explosive fight card including former Strikeforce fighter and FFC champ Dion Staring who will defend his belt against Europe's young rising MMA talent Darko Stošić. Also, FFC lightweight champion Ahmed Vila will try to win his second FFC belt, this time in featherweight category. His opponent in Springfield will be Britain's own Chris Fishgold. Plus David Mitchell, Tyler East, Dale Sopi and Leo Leite.
FFC 25 will also feature six spectacular kickboxing fights with current FFC champions and some of the biggest stars of the sport Mladen Brestovac and Pavel Zhuravlev.
These are the first of many events through the formal partnership previously announced by both FFC President Orsat Zovko and Hoplite Entertainment CEO Jon Smith in June of 2015. The FFC has since moved its headquarters to Los Angeles, CA as of January 2016, officially setting up offices with Hoplite Entertainment, leaving only it's PR and marketing team in Europe.
The Complete fight cards will be announced publicly in the next few days as well as listed at www.FFCPro.com
Both events will be aired live on CBS Sports Network as well as on www.fightchanneltv.com.
