TORONTO, June 22, 2015 /CNW/ - CraveTV™, Canada's premium TV streaming service, announced today the launch of another exclusive heavyweight franchise, with the addition of SOUTH PARK on Wednesday, July 1. The series catalogue, featuring 18 seasons and more than 250 episodes, will begin streaming only on CraveTV on Canada Day, with every season, uncensored and uncut in its original form. The series will be anchored in CraveTV's extremely popular Comedy collection.
The launch of South Park on CraveTV will be supported by an extensive cross-platform media campaign on Bell Media properties including out-of-home, conventional and specialty television, and online outlets beginning today.

Today's announcement represents the latest acquisition of a blockbuster television franchise for CraveTV. In perhaps the most iconic Canadian-themed episode, Canada goes on strike to demand "money and more money" but is ignored by other world leaders, who bring in Danish people or the "Canadians of Europe" to fill in for the strikers. Other famous parodies include the Royal Wedding, in which the Princess of Canada is kidnapped by the "Canadian Giant" during the ceremony.
