Everything Channel's CRN Selects Doyenz VP Eric Webster as a Channel Chief
Webster Named to Channel Chief List for Second Consecutive Year
BELLEVUE, Wash., Feb. 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Doyenz Inc. today announced that Eric Webster, VP of Sales and Marketing, has been named a Channel Chief by the Everything Channel's CRN. Channel Chiefs are leaders in creating effective channel programs for solution providers. They consistently defend, promote and execute effective channel partner programs and strategies.
Webster was named to the elite list for the second year in a row in part due to channel-focused initiatives he has spearheaded since joining Doyenz in June 2010. Webster's contributions to the channel include overseeing the implementation of the Doyenz Partner Program, which includes a referral program and Partnercloud, a dedicated online resource for partners and distributors in the channel. His expertise has also been crucial in refining Doyenz's channel-only strategy.
This year's Channel Chiefs were chosen based on Everything Channel editorial criteria including policy and program innovations made during the past year, the amount of revenue their company generates through partners, their willingness to speak out publicly on behalf of the channel, and the number of years they have dedicated to channel activities.
"We have built the Doyenz Shadowcloud from the ground up with the vision of providing superior cloud-based disaster recovery services to channel partners," said Doyenz CEO Ashutosh Tiwary. "Since Eric joined our team last year, I've seen him make our vision a reality by making hundreds of channel partners successful resellers of our technology. Eric's knowledge, passion and channel expertise is an excellent match for our unique technology and services. Together, we look forward to making many more channel partners very successful."
"Being named a Channel Chief is one of the most prestigious honors in the IT industry. This year's Channel Chiefs offer tremendous insight into the who's who of the Channel," said Kelley Damore, VP, Editorial Director, Everything Channel. "Top channel executives consistently ensure that the Channel's voice is heard when strategic decisions are being made and continually nurture mutually profitable relationships. We applaud this year's Channel Chiefs for their successful partner programs and strategies."
