Execware Announces Issuance of Newest Patent for Contextual Data Modeling Using Tags; Seeks Development and Commercialization Support
FALLS CHURCH, Va., Nov. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Execware, LLC announces the November 27th issuance of U.S. Patent No. 8,321,475 SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTEXTUAL DATA MODELING UTILIZING TAGS, the 7th software patent of the company's president and CEO, Robert Listou. That patent marks completion of years of conceptual development of a radically new type of visual analytic program. Focused on rapid manipulation of multiple data displays, contextual data modeling (CDM) enables individuals to easily discover all meaningful groups and/or sequences in user-created datasets of text data about the objects, events, people, or other discrete entities they work with, of any type or mix of types. Listou believes this new methodology is particularly applicable to intelligence analysis and law investigation, but useful in almost any other field.
The user's mind is completely in charge. Reasoning while viewing a choice of data displays automatically generates thoughts of changes, which the user easily makes. That data modeling includes deletion and addition, automated and manual movement, in-place editing, coloring, and more. Advanced versions will include concurrently viewing and/or hearing the contents of files associated with the items in the dataset being examined. The user's cognition, not embedded algorithms, generates the conclusions of the analysis.
Execware is seeking a firm committed to further developing and commercializing several potential versions of its' patented CDM software. A video overview of CDM is viewable at the company's website, www.execware.com, as is a slide presentation with a detailed explanation of CDM. The patents are accessible there also. And downloadable, for experimenting with one's own data, is a partial demonstration application, Reason®.
