Expatriate and Activist Jett Pence Urges Americans to Write-in Colonel Karen Kwiatkowski for President This November
Pence asks politically motivated women to organize The Black Widow Peace Party to neuter the congressional military-industrial complex - and build momentum for future elections
OULU, Finland, June 13, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Retired Air Force Colonel Karen Kwiatkowski has the experience, perspective and grit to undo Washington's destructive status quo. That's according to expatriate and Army veteran Jett Pence, who encourages voters to write in Kwiatkowski for president in November, and to advocate vigorously for world peace. Pence has created a Facebook page to serve as an advertisement and launch pad for The Black Widow Peace Party - a fledgling movement for women everywhere who desire world peace today.
"I've been writing for many years about what I call 'Congressional Male Violence,'" explains Jett Pence, "and I was searching for the right person to lead a movement to restore sanity and peace. I found that person in Colonel Kwiatkowski. She has all the qualifications to make her the perfect antidote to the patriarchal, militant bureaucracy that seems to have kidnapped our nation. Therefore, I'm asking Americans to wake up, join The Black Widow Peace Party, and write in Kwiatkowski as the first 'female peace president.'"
In 2015, the military accounted for slightly more than half of the nation's discretionary spending - to the tune of $598.5 billion. That figure is larger than the next seven largest military budgets put together. The U.S. consistently accounts for more than one-third of the world's military spending. It's this out-of-control spending that Pence wants to see reigned in because, as any economist can explain, all of that spending has to be "applied" to something. And in the case of military spending, that something is war.
"Eisenhower warned us of this calamity more than half a century ago, but no one was listening," concludes Pence. "Runaway military budgets have been the norm for so long, that people now sadly take it for granted. We can change that, one vote at a time."
Pence picked the retired colonel as the leader of this emerging movement for a number of reasons. First, as a former senior Air Force officer with a PhD in world politics, Kwiatkowski has an insider's understanding of how the military-industrial complex functions. She is also a prolific writer on geopolitics and foreign relations, and has clearly thought long and hard about the issues facing America and the world today. Shortly after Kwiatkowski retired, she courageously blew the whistle on those who were manipulating the government and the nation into attacking Iraq.
Pence believes Kwiatkowski could bring much-needed feminine values to Washington - a place that has for decades show the bankruptcy of the masculine way of doing business. For his part, he intends for The Black Widow Peace Party to develop its own inertia; once a core group of women are steering the organization, Pence will step away entirely. His long-term plan is to keep the party's platform in the public eye for as long as he's capable. In addition, Pence will work to promote Kwiatkowski as a write-in candidate prior to each presidential election.
