FingerCheck representatives say that the new expense reporting feature was designed to improve the functionality of their mobile app, adding an important service to their existing menu of payroll tools and time clock software. With employees constantly on the go, the introduction of a mobile system through which employees could document expenses and request reimbursements felt like a move that would benefit both employees and supervisors.

If the expense type is reimbursable, the expense earning is imported directly into payroll and the employee is reimbursed when payroll is run.
