GLEN ELLYN, Ill., May 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cubicle Ninjas' relaxing virtual reality (VR) application for the Oculus Rift, Guided Meditation VR allows users to experience an exotic vacation, wherever and whenever they choose. Surpassing 30,000 downloads of the Beta demo app, Guided Meditation VR is already helping improve people's lives across the globe.
In 2014, Guided Meditation VR was an early prototype that debuted at the Silicon Valley Virtual Reality (SVVR) Conference and Expo; a year later it's an impactful experiential product handcrafted with feedback from thousands of real users. Cubicle Ninjas is thrilled to be returning as an exhibitor and sponsor in 2015 to the SVVR Conference and Expo this week in San Jose. SVVR attendees will be able to experience Guided Meditation VR and enjoy a virtual vacation right on the trade show floor.
"Our team values the feedback we receive from users and we're using it to enhance and improve Guided Meditation VR," states Josh Farkas, CEO of Cubicle Ninjas. "Our goal is to create VR experiences that encourage happiness and positively impact people's lives."
More than 25 locations have already been built with user feedback and by incorporating the latest research in Environmental Psychology. The full application will feature 40+ locations as well as provide users with the ability to customize their experience. Here are some of the exciting new locations:
- Beautiful Hawaiian beach
- Gorgeous East Coast shoreline
- Majestic Rocky Mountain forest
- Underwater ocean paradise
- Peaceful Earth orbit
- And many more!
Guided Meditation VR's full release is targeted for fall 2015 and will be available at launch for the Oculus Rift consumer version.
