Shaheen represents banks and private credit funds in complex credit facilities, leveraged and acquisition financings, and restructurings.

Shaheen has significant experience representing lenders in both the syndicated and private markets and in restructurings across a variety of industries. His practice focuses on the structuring, negotiation, and administration of senior credit facilities, including acquisition, asset-based, bridge, cross-border, and multi-currency financings.

Shaheen rejoins Latham from Stanford University, where he was engaged in education and research. Shaheen was a partner in Latham's Banking & Private Credit Practice from 2014 to 2019. He received his JD from Harvard Law School and BA from the University of Chicago.
