Expressume Selects Kurt Heikkinen as CEO and Secures Series B Funding Round of More Than $1 Million
Video Talent Acquisition Leader Unveils Company Milestones
DELAFIELD, Wis., June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Expressume, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider of video talent acquisition solutions to the Global 5000, announced today the naming of Kurt Heikkinen to the role of CEO. Additionally, the company shared the news of securing commitments for its series "B" funding round, led by Gary Comer Investments and also including investments from Calumet Venture Fund.
Heikkinen brings to Expressume more than 20 years of enterprise software experience within the talent management and SaaS domains. Throughout his career, he has led start-up companies and large enterprises through technology product launches to serve rapidly emerging markets.
Heikkinen's past experience includes executive positions at PeopleSoft, Inc. where he was responsible for product strategy, development and support for their $400M HRMS business unit. During his tenure, Heikkinen also served as the vice president of Global Support and helped grow PeopleSoft from $50 million to more than $1 billion in annual revenue. Additionally, Heikkinen was a member of the executive team at Evolve, Inc. where he was instrumental in raising $45 million in funding. His leadership of their professional services and product development organizations helped bring the company through several product releases and a successful IPO. Heikkinen has also served as vice president of eBanking Product Development at Metavante, and managing partner for Codeworks, Inc.
