Sportbay is launching a brand-new affiliate program for travel agencies worldwide

Sportbay Sport Travel, a premium platform for surf camps, kiteboarding trips and diving vacations, is launching its affiliate program in February 2013. Affiliates such as travel agencies, sports shops and travel-related websites can earn a commission for sales using a specific URL or can place bookings for their customers on the website.
The German startup, launched in 2012, offers live online booking of more than 1,500 different offers, ranging from individual courses to complete diving vacation packages (http://www.sportbay.com/de/Tauchreisen), Kitesurfing Trips (Kitereisen) (http://www.sportbay.com/de/Kitesurfen) to Surf Camps (http://www.sportbay.com/Surf-Camp) in the major tourist hot spots (altogether more than 30 countries).
The platform allows addition of multiple items to a shopping cart and check out all at once. Thus, agents can first select the desired classes and then look for a suitable place to stay. Once they are satisfied with their selection, they can check out both at once.
Affiliates can either link to the website using their affiliate-ID in order to get a commission on anonymous traffic or login with a user name to make bookings. Thus, travel agencies do not just make a commission on flights and hotel stays, but also on activities surrounding hotels, such as diving, kiteboarding, surfing and windsurfing courses. Furthermore, Sportbay offers printable coupons for sports shops allowing them to cross sell sports trips and vacations.
Setup is free and only requires affiliates to be registered businesses. Upon approval, affiliates receive a media kit and advertising tools.
