EYE Lighting Expands Leadership Team, Appoints Robert Freitag VP Marketing

MENTOR, Ohio, Aug. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- EYE Lighting International, a leading manufacturer of lamps and lighting products, has appointed Robert Freitag Vice President of Marketing.  He joins EYE from Philips Day-Brite, where he most recently served as product manager for Philips Capri.

Mr. Freitag will be responsible for product management, pricing, distribution and market communications for the company.  "Rob's sales and marketing experience in the lighting industry is an ideal fit for EYE Lighting," declared Tom Salpietra, President and COO. "Our rapid growth created the need for someone with demonstrated leadership skills, and I'm looking forward to him joining the management team."  

Prior to his experience with Philips, Mr. Freitag also held several marketing positions with Cooper Lighting including manager for HID and fiber optic product lines.  He holds a B.S. degree in Industrial Design from Kent State University.
