EyeLock Expands Senior Leadership, Appoints Marc H. Levin as General Counsel

NEW YORK, July 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- EyeLock Inc., a market leader of iris-based identity authentication solutions, today announced the hiring of Marc Levin to serve as the company's new General Counsel. With 15 years of experience, Levin brings a wide variety of experience to EyeLock at a time where the company is realizing extraordinary growth.

As General Counsel, Mr. Levin joins the senior management team, providing leadership for EyeLock's strategic endeavors, partnerships, licensing and other business affairs.  Mr. Levin will be reporting to Jim Demitrieus, EyeLock's Chief Executive Officer.

Levin's prior experience includes multiple roles during his tenure at Harris Interactive ($140 million revenue) including Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, he was also a member of the five person executive team and led strategic initiatives that culminated in the acquisition of the company by Nielsen Holdings N.V. in March 2014. Levin also held several positions with Taylor Nelson Sofres plc, managing the full scope of legal affairs of North American subsidiaries with approximately $400 million in annual revenue and 1,500 employees and negotiated more than ten merger and acquisition transactions, involving the company, ranging in value from $25 to $150 million.

Levin has a J.D from Boston College Law School and M.B.A with Finance concentration from Boston College Carroll School of Management. He is a member of the Bar Association in New York and Massachusetts.
