EZ Home Products "Kickstarts" Crowdfunding Effort For Revolutionary Smartcan

PHOENIX, Aug. 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- EZ Home Products, the Phoenix, Ariz.-based startup that brings safe and simple products and hassle-free solutions to homeowners everywhere, has officially launched its first crowd-funding initiative through Kickstarter. The 45-day campaign, which launched August 22, focuses on the company's new Smartcan, a 23-gallon trashcan that guarantees users will never struggle to remove a trash bag from its can again. 

Smartcan simply eliminates the need for users to lift trash bags out of the can entirely. No more suction upon removal, tearing of bags or mess on the floor because with Smartcan, trash isn't taken out of its can. Instead the can is taken off the trash. Smartcan is simple, easy-to-use, durable and easy to clean. There are also a host of additional features that make Smartcan just that – smart.

EZ Home Products hopes to raise at least $50 thousand to meet both current and future demand for Smartcan. Exposure is expected to increase dramatically this fall when Smartcan will be introduced to national television audiences on DIY Network's "I Want That" television series. Smartcan will be featured in a stand-alone segment that features only the coolest, must-have products for the home and garden available.
