EZ's Brick Oven & Grill Launches Sunday 'Yappy Hour' on the Patio Series to benefit Austin Humane Society

SAN ANTONIO, Texas, June 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- EZ's Brick Oven & Grill already known as a family and kid-friendly gathering spot now welcomes pets too; a summer series of 'Yappy Hour' on the Patio will benefit the Austin Humane Society from 4 to 7 p.m.,  launches Sunday, June 10 and continues through Sunday, August 26.

"Our community is important to us and giving back to our customers, friends and neighbors is a number one priority," says Suzy Monford, president of EZ's Brick Oven & Grill.  "We support a variety of causes and share the Austin Humane Society's passion to find homes for homeless animals." 

Adoption Waggin' Event, Sunday, June 10

'Yappy Hour,' a weather-permitting event, features a full-service dining experience on the patio for guests with pets.  Pets enjoy dog treats, fresh water and other goodies provided by Austin Vet Care,  also on hand at the launch party to showcase its services and provide pet safety and health protection information.  All pets must be on leashes or in carriers.  The Austin Humane Society will bring its Adoption Waggin' to the Yappy Hour launch on Sunday, June 10 at EZ's Brick Oven & Grill located at 3918 N. Lamar.  Dogs, cats, puppies and kittens will all be available for adoption on-site.  When you adopt a new pet during Yappy Hour, EZ's will thank you with a complimentary dinner for two valued up to $20.

For the Austin Humane Society to benefit from the proceeds during 'Yappy Hour,' guests simply drop receipts into the designated Austin Humane Society box, and EZ's donates 10 percent of the total sales before taxes to the non-profit.
