Over 100,000 cosmetic procedures take place in the UK each year and when things go wrong patients turn to specialist lawyers. CS Insider, a Facebook community that offers advice for people who have had or are considering cosmetic surgery, is hosting a live chat with a leading negligence lawyer from 1pm on Friday 27 April.

The live chat will be hosted by Mike Saul, a partner at TJL Solicitors. TJL Solicitors is a Manchester-based law firm that in 2005 became the first in the country to establish a practice specialising entirely in cosmetic surgery negligence.

The practice is led by Mike Saul who has personally supported hundreds of men and women across the country who have suffered physical and psychological injuries as a result of having botched treatment. Mr Saul has become a leading commentator on issues relating to cosmetic surgery and he has successfully pursued legal claims that have resulted in his clients collectively being paid over £1 million recompense for their injuries.  

Commenting on the chat, Mr Saul said: "Cosmetic surgery has become extremely popular in the UK, with more and more people going under the knife at private clinics and hospitals. However, as with any service or product, as cosmetic surgery procedures have become increasingly popular, the risks of bad practices and negligence also increase.
