Facebook May Help Develop New Health Care Industry after the Creation of the 21st Century "Health Warranty"
PALO ALTO, Calif., July 5, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Facebook's next "Awesome" idea will be health care. The leader of the social networking scene with over 600 million users is the only true way to reform health care and revolutionize how people connect to medical services around the United States.
What is the possibility of another young man that is the same age as the founder of Facebook, born almost a month apart but lives on the opposite coast and is attempting to reinvent the Health Care Industry, using a national social platform like Facebook but for health care.
Lots of people would say this could not happen or is impossible, but you may be wrong. His name is Matthew Wright, a 27-year-old from North Carolina and his creation is called the US Health Care Warranty Exchange. The Public Exchange will be one of the first member-owned Health Care Exchanges in America.
“The goal is to provide millions of people on social networks with instant health care coverage with the simple click of a button. With this network, members will be able to view medical records, confirm and deny claims and setup appointments with health care providers very easy,” states Matthew Wright, Founder and Director of the US Health Care Warranty Exchange.
After asking for public support, citizens across the country have given a total of $762,050 which was raised online through donations and pledges at ushcwe.org.
Inside this exchange, health coverage will no longer be tied to employment and medical coverage will only be offered in the individual consumer market. Democrats and Republicans have endorsed this plan.
The US Health Care Warranty Exchange (USHCWE) is trying to raise $400 million in contributions from citizens across America for the development of the Exchange so it and its five (5) member companies will be operational by 2014. Matthew Wright has stated that if he cannot reach the $400 million mark through public contributions, he will have investors to fork in the rest.
“We need their social media platform and Facebook wants to explorer new Markets that can be changed. This will be a great partnership,” states Matthew Wright.
The Facebook team and Matthew Wright have not met yet, but when they do sit down and iron out the details of this new health care project, the world just may change again.
