CLEVELAND, Nov. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Brian Harmych, M.D., a facial plastic surgeon specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive procedures for the face and neck, has opened his practice, Harmych Facial Plastic Surgery, on Chagrin Blvd. in Pepper Pike, Ohio.
Dr. Harmych is the area's only fellowship-trained facial plastic surgeon in private practice. Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, Dr. Harmych is pleased to offer his services to fellow members of his community.
"Putting patients first is one of the core values of my practice," says Dr. Harmych. "I offer highly personalized care and spend as much time as needed with every person who walks through my door. Although we have posted office hours, I often work outside of these hours to accommodate my patients' schedules. As a father of three, I understand the need to balance work and family life."
Dr. Harmych plans to utilize his specialized training for a variety of surgical procedures of the face and neck. His specific interests include facelift, neck lift, rhinoplasty (nose job) and eyelid surgery.
"I was fortunate enough to train under one of the world's top facial plastic surgeons, Dr. Devinder Mangat, M.D., a pioneer in the field of facial plastic surgery," says Dr. Harmych.
Training during residency and fellowship is what distinguishes a facial plastic surgeon from a general plastic surgeon. Facial plastic surgeons spend a much greater amount of time during residency and fellowship focused exclusively on the face and neck.
Dr. Harmych also has extensive experience performing popular non-surgical treatments such as BOTOX® and Dysport® injections, chemical peels, fillers and facial skin care.
"As many patients wish to delay surgical treatments as long as possible, non-surgical treatments, such as BOTOX® and fillers, are rapidly becoming the most popular segment of facial plastic surgery," Dr. Harmych says. "I want to teach my patients about these treatments. Physicians serve as educators and it's my duty as a physician to educate patients so that they can make informed decisions."
Harmych Facial Plastic Surgery, as a patient-centered practice, was designed with the patient experience in mind.
"Our dedication to the patient experience helps to distinguish us from other plastic surgery practices. I've built my practice based on trust and in cultivating lasting relationships. We treat our patients as if they were family."
