Bob built and led the company's legal department and internship program throughout his tenure, offering trusted counsel across underwriting, loss prevention, recoveries, and regulatory matters. He was an essential advisor to Falvey's leadership and underwriters, earning admiration not only for his legal acumen but for his integrity, mentorship, and vision.
Bob's impact has extended far beyond Falvey. As an Adjunct Professor of Law at Roger Williams University School of Law, he has educated and mentored countless legal professionals, many of whom now serve across the insurance and maritime industries. He is also a longtime and respected member of the Maritime Law Association of the United States, contributing thought leadership to one of the most specialized legal communities in the country.
While Bob steps back from day-to-day responsibilities, he will continue to guide the company as a senior advisor and member of the Board of Directors.
