Fashion Outlets of Chicago Opens, Boston Barricade Company Chosen to Supply Graphics and Enclosures

VERO BEACH, Fla., Aug. 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Boston Barricade Company, a national provider of reusable modular construction enclosures and graphics systems, was chosen as the exclusive barricade and graphics provider for the grand opening of the Fashion Outlets of Chicago.

The Fashion Outlets of Chicago, located in Rosemont, Illinois, marks the first fully enclosed mall to open in the Chicago-area in over 20 years. The 530,000 square foot structure is developed, owned and operated by AWE Talisman and managed by Macerich, a leading national mall developer.

For the opening, Boston Barricade Company installed its newest product, PlankWalz, along with full graphic wraps of the Fashion Outlets logo, in spaces where build out of new stores in time for the grand opening was not possible.

PlankWalz, developed by the Boston Barricade team, is a unique reusable construction enclosure in that it is completely seamless with concealed fasteners and either bullnosed or 90-degree corners. The seamless design allows for smooth installation of graphics, including full-wraps over the enclosure. PlankWalz are safely installed as indoor and outdoor construction enclosures and are ASTM E84 'Class A' fire rated. Further, PlankWalz can be repurposed and recycled.

Boston Barricade Company successfully installed their PlankWalz enclosures, along with wrinkle-free graphics, at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago, in time for the grand opening on August 1, 2013.
