FastComp Cuts First Checks To Fight Hunger In Communities Across America As "One Policy, One Meal" Social Responsibility Initiative Takes Off
HUDSON, Ohio, Oct. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- FastComp, the leading web-based source for monoline workers' compensation insurance, has begun distributing the first checks in its "One Policy, One Meal" program designed to put food on the table every time a FastComp policy is bound, in communities where that help is needed most.
"Along with our network of Independent Agent partners and clients, we've started putting our money where our nation's needy mouths are," remarks FastComp CEO John Valko. "It's something we care deeply about, and we're proud to be able to do something about food security in America."
Each time a policy is bound through a FastComp Independent Agent, the company sets aside a cash donation on behalf of that client and Independent Agent, destined for one of the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief organizations. As the funds accrue, regular checks will be sent out to the various organizations.
"We wanted to design a program that would make the most efficient use of the resources at hand, to make the biggest impact," says Valko. "Just like FastComp, except now we're bringing simplicity and direct benefit to fighting hunger. And, as we continue to add Agents who share our core values, we expect the program will grow."
FastComp was created in 1998 by an experienced team of insurance underwriting professionals to provide Independent Agents with the opportunity to place monoline workers' compensation coverage profitably. Predictable, scalable and reliable, FastComp delivers the processes, tools, people and partners Agents need to enable their future success.
