Fastest Food in America?

ATLANTA, Aug. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- "Good to Go," a state-of-the-art food truck owned by Wind Creek Hospitality in Alabama, today became the first food truck to take the track at the historic Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Driven by Chef Paul Norton, "Good to Go" posted a blazing 4 minute lap time, only slightly slower than the average time of a NASCAR qualifier at 26 seconds.

"I have always tried to run a fast kitchen, but I never thought I'd be shaking and baking around Turn 2 here," said Chef Norton.

Ed Clark, General Manager of the Atlanta Motor Speedway noted, "Admittedly, 'Good to Go' was the only truck on the track, but that doesn't mean it is not a tough competitor. I had the shrimp and grits that Chef Paul cooked this morning and the dish was a winner, hands down."

"Good to Go's" home base is the Wind Creek Casino & Hotel Wetumpka in Wetumpka, Alabama (WCW). WCW and its sister property, Creek Casino Montgomery (CCM), are major sponsors of Friday's night race lineup for Atlanta Motor Speedway's NASCAR Labor Day race weekend event.  They are the official casinos for NASCAR's Sprint Cup new "knockout qualifying" event and are also sponsoring the Sprint Car Shootout that is held after the qualifying event.
