Incorporating Bio-Formats' powerful image translation library into Amira enables users to use Amira regardless of their preferred platform or file type, making that step to visualizing, analyzing and understanding their data, quicker and easier than ever before.
Bio-Formats is an image file format translation library and is used in thousands of laboratories around the world to read >145 proprietary image file formats. Glencoe Software is the exclusive commercial partner of the OME Consortium and makes substantial contributions to the Bio-Formats project.
