Fi South America Set to Organize a Road Show in Chile in Partnership With Euromonitor, Indualimentos Magazine and the Santiago Chamber of Commerce
The FiSA Road Show - Chile will have a free seminar courtesy of Euromonitor for the local industry on "Global trends in functional foods for the food industry"
SAO PAULO, April 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- With the aim of presenting content and promoting networking between professionals from the food industry, UBM Brazil, organizer of FiSA, the main event for alimentary ingredients in Latin America, will promote the 1st FiSA Road Show, which will take place on 9th May at Hotel W, in Santiago, Chile.
The event, organized in partnership with Euromonitor International, Indualimentos Magazine and the Santiago Chamber Commerce will be a meeting of the food industry and Chilean suppliers to bring everybody up to date on global trends in functional foods. In the program, Mrs. Fatima Linares, Research Analyst from Euromonitor, will outline global trends in functional foods, the market for which is in an upwards growth curve, demonstrating the effort made by the industry to meet the demands of consumers increasingly concerned with health and aware of the benefits of products with greater nutritional quality.
As well as the Euromonitor seminar, UBM Brazil will be making a presentation about its event Fi South America, now considered the 2nd biggest event in the Americas in this segment, and its business opportunities for Latin American attendees and exhibitors. Indualimentos magazine and the Santiago Chamber of Commerce are partners in publicizing this important event.
Having been held in Sao Paulo for 16 years, FiSA 2012 will be a key event for the food ingredients sector in the region, with more than 500 exhibitors and a visiting public numbering 14,000 professionals from all over the world.
In addition to the exhibition, which this year will incorporate the Nutraceuticals Expo, an space dedicated to companies that supply ingredients and functional products and neutraceuticals, FiSA is made up of the International Congress and the Fi Awards, the main award ceremony for the food industry.
