Fifth Third Bank Conducts Area Wide Food Drive To Help Families Affected By Recent Flooding
Now Through Friday, May 3, 2013
CHICAGO, April 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Fifth Third Bank is currently conducting a food drive to benefit Geneva-based Northern Illinois Food Bank. "So many families in our area have been affected by the recent flooding, we dedicate our efforts to help them and others in need," said Robert A. Sullivan, President & CEO, Fifth Third Bank (Chicago).
The bank is committed to donating 53,000 meals through this effort. The public is encouraged and welcome to participate by donating non-perishable foods at any of its far west suburban banking centers:
- 165 W. Wilson, Batavia
- 1776 S. Randall Road, Geneva
- 1525 W. Main, St. Charles
- 700 S. Randall Road, St. Charles
- 1800 N. Neltnor, West Chicago
The public can also bring non-perishable food to any home game at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark (34W002 Cherry Lane, Geneva, IL 60134), through May 3rd. During this same time period, bank employees throughout the bank's entire footprint are raising funds to benefit Chicago-based Vital Bridges Center on Chronic Care, a program of Heartland Health Outreach, Inc., and the Northwest Indiana Food Bank.
